Hideout Theatre is a London-based production company and a community arts group.

Hideout was formed in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic by graduating students from Guildford School of Acting. Frustrated yet inspired by the restraints placed on interpersonal connection at the time, at Hideout’s core was born a desire to create work that was bold in nature and brought people together.

Those core foundations haven’t changed, and our mission today is to platform outstanding early-career artists, and to help carve their place in the UK theatre industry.

We offer regular community events, giving actors, writers, directors and other creatives the opportunity to share their work and to connect with one another. Additionally, our full scale-productions aim to test the expectations of London theatre, and give up-and-coming artists the opportunity to have their work realised in a professional capacity.
