July 20th features live rehearsed readings from exciting new writers Brandon Grace and Georgie Murphy.
RILEY by Brandon Grace:
Ray and Jason are old friends revisiting the same memories, relationships and regrets, each searching for a version of the truth about Teri that will let them move on.
But as Ray’s obsession on Teri spirals out of control, Ray and Jason begin to discover that the distance between them may be much smaller than either man wants to admit.
RILEY is a darkly comic drama about loneliness, masculinity and the stories we tell ourselves about love.
AFTER THE COLD by Georgie Murphey:
Lea’s father is dead. In three days’ time, there will be a tribute – and Lea needs to create something. Counselled by a dramatherapist, she rebuilds her father as a puppet, navigating her grief through memories and storytelling. But as the tribute approaches, Lea’s world of imagination becomes a dangerous obsession.
AFTER THE COLD explores what it is to remember someone, and what it takes to say goodbye.
